Using Seachem Prime is a breeze. Simply add 1 capful (5 mL) per 200 L (50 US gallons) of fresh or replacement water (each cap thread is approximately 1 ml). For optimum results, add Prime to new water first. In cases of exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose can be safely administered. For smaller volumes, simply use 2 drops per gallon.

In emergencies, Seachem Prime can be used at a 5x dose for both ammonia and nitrite detoxification. And for added safety, use a half dose if the water temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low.
