Each kilogramme of oolitic aragonite aquarium sand provides over 1 million square centimetres of surface area, offering ample space for beneficial bacteria to thrive and reduce ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels. The optimal grain size makes it suitable for reef tanks, fish tanks, plenum systems, and refugiums.
